Description

You’re an engineer who loves making systems scalable, performant, and robust. You enjoy thinking about reliability, optimization and get excited when shipping code to high-traffic servers. You get satisfaction seeing automated and robust production.

As DevOps Engineer, you’ll work with all engineering teams in the company in a variety of activities, from educational to hard-core technical. You’ll be helping them to build automated release pipelines using the best practices in the company. You’ll also help them set architecture and infrastructure for high reliability, performance, monitoring, and security best practices. You’ll organize game days for breaking things, troubleshooting training but also join incidents when needed. As a DevOps engineer, you’ll often be the first line of defense against D(D)oS, malware, and other security threats and wear a virtual security engineer hat. Sometimes, you will hit the limits of existing tooling so you’ll get your hands dirty by writing custom code as a part of an external service or as a part of the core engine. The overall goal of the DevOps team is to help other engineering teams ship their code faster while keeping reliability and security on a very high level.
