As Technical Project Manager (TPM), you will lead the relationship with the Customer and their team, as well as organize and collaborate with Bryj internal mobile application teams. A Bryj TPM must be naturally inclined to deliver customer excellence.
Primary Role & Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Head of Project Management, Scrum Master, UX designers, developers, QA engineers, and other members of the Growth Operations team to develop high-performing, scalable, and maintainable hybrid applications that meet functional requirements and solve business challenges communicated by customers.
- Manage customer interactions and requests by leading project meetings and guiding customers through the mobile application development and publication process, by leveraging our best practices and mobile application development expertise.
- Dedicate time and care to deliver professionally written customer communication, as well as verbal communication via conference calls. Work within an Agile (scrum) framework with a spirit of collaboration and respect with internal and external teams.
- Regularly communicate status updates with the Head of Project Management and escalate all project related issues as per the defined escalation processes.
- Work with a spirit of collaboration and respect with internal and external teams to ensure a positive work environment is fostered.
- Deliver high CSAT (customer satisfaction) and NPS (net promotion score) results.
- Assist with retention, expansion, and renewal efforts. At Bryj, we aim to deliver customer excellence, and therefore retaining, expanding, and renewing our customers is of utmost importance. The TPM is a key role in delivering a positive experience with our customers and often solutioning and recommending technical ideas and intelligent prioritizations that can meaningfully impact the customers’ business.
- At least 3-5 years of experience as a Project Coordinator or Project manager in the tech industry (i.e., app development & maintenance, website development & maintenance).
- Strong familiarity, if not expertise, with mobile application development and with Android and iOS Stores.
- Understanding of website creation and publication process.
- Experience working within an agile framework and scrum methodology (working with cross functional teams in a sprint format).
- Well versed and familiar with back-end and front-end coding languages and frameworks
- Certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) are preferred.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- At least 3-5 years of experience as a Project Coordinator or Project manager in a relevant field.
- Experience working with Jira, Confluence, and Monday.com.
- Excellent English communication skills (both verbal and written).
- This is a hybrid position based in Lisbon, Portugal. You are required to be at the Lisbon office at least 4-5 days per week.
- You are expected to support customers from both NA and EMEA regions, and as such, you are expected to work as closely as possible with the applicable time zones.
