We are seeking a highly exceptional, experienced, and committed Director of Mid-Market & Enterprise Sales to shape our growing sales organization and accelerate our business growth by driving new business and expanding existing enterprise customers.This individual must have a proven record in enterprise software & solution sales, successfully hunting and scaling new B2B subscription logos & ARR, and methodically navigates and builds strong enterprise customer relationships. We are looking for hunter-builders of growth and sales organizations, and self-motivated experienced leader-doers that leave nothing to chance to deliver unwavering sales and growth results.
Primary Role & Responsibilities: Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, the Director of Mid-Market & Enterprise Sales (East Coast) will be responsible for building and leading a growth sales team, driving and optimizing scalable recurring revenue (ARR Bookings) growth of enterprise & mid-market customers across partner channels and customer direct, and develop and execute effective sales strategies, tactics, and processes for our enterprise and mid-market customers.
- Deliver and exceed financial sales goals (Bookings ARR quota) in a US region and assigned global accounts.
- Proactively hunt, drive and unlock new logos, expansion and upsell opportunities with enterprise and mid-market enterprise customers from various lead gen sources.
- Negotiate new customer deals and existing enterprise customer renewals alongside CSM team.
- Formulate and execute tactical & strategic plans to accelerate revenue opportunities based on detailed understanding of customers’ needs / wants, budgets, decision-makers, timelines, and challenges.
- Build a high performing sales organization and team culture.
- Build trusted relationships and work with our partners (e.g., Microsoft, Salesforce,) to accelerate the sales cycle and further enable channels for growth.
- Skillfully drive and work opportunities end-to-end from lead gen, discovery, demo, value signaling, proposal, negotiation, contracting / legal agreements to final closing.
- Form and continuously augment and improve our sales processes so they are always pursuing world-class status. For example, analyze customer data to identify opportunities to increase revenues.
- Forge relationships and work in concert with other Bryj teams and departments to identify sales opportunities, improve product functionality and sales operations process.
- Provide structured customer feedback to Bryj Product and Marketing teams.
- Evangelize the Bryj value and story.
- Strong sales instinct for opportunities, ability to manage & drive, and methodically close deals with a sense of urgency.
- Proven experience and willingness to roll up their sleeves. Experience in start-up & growth environment is a plus.
- Highly accountable and self-motivated. Ability to work in a fast-paced, fast-growth, rapidly changing SaaS environment across time zones.
- Excellent narrative using stories and slides to any level or function of an organization.
- Excellent people skills with ability to influence and drive accountability across various levels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as excellent presentation skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and solutioning skills.
- Strong attention to detail. Working understanding of legal contracting process and agreements.
- Knowledge of Mobile App / Websites and ultra-scale Cloud ecosystems.
- Past relationships working at or partnering with Salesforce and / or Microsoft desired.
- 10 to 15 years of proven quota-carrying selling experience in B2B enterprise SaaS and/or software, and channel partners sales.
- Leadership and people skills. Proven ability to build a sales organization / team and territory
- Bachelors degree in business administration, sales or similar fields
- Highly proficient in Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office.
